28 Weeks Later

The sequel to the awesome 28 Days Later (which I can't believe I missed out on writing about, considering its one of my favourite movies of the last couple of years).

This time there is more budget, and a new premise: the rage virus is under control, but is it to early to start repopulating?  The main stars are a family of three (father is the lead stripper from The Full Monty), with a defiant daughter and curious son.  They evade the blockades and head over to their old family home.  Other key characters are Scarlet (played by Rose Byrne), and an army soldier whose name escapes me.

Anyway, lots of blood, but a bloody good movie.
