Freddie's Fourth Month
Dear Freddie,
You are now four months old, and its been another whirlwind month with a whole host of changes that we've noticed.
Firstly, you love to stand up! We weren't expecting this so soon, but you stand up only holding on to our fingers... still a bit wobbly, but very impressive, especially considering how large you are. I joke around that you like it so much because it makes you feel like a real little person, which could be true, who knows?!
Towards the end of the month, the nighttime feeding and settling was getting a bit much for mum, so I took over with my heart of stone, and within two nights you'd gone from waking constantly for cuddles and feeds, to almost sleeping through the night! Now I take care of the nights, and you've mostly slept through till 5am before waking up over the last week. And no food between 7pm and 7am! Amazing, and has improved our sleep and energy a whole bunch too.
You made friends with Nick and Blathneid, who looked after you a couple of times during the month (allowing us to go out for special date nights!)
And lastly, you've almost got the hang of rolling over and giggling. But I'm sure there'll be more to write about that next month.
